Mental Health on the Move

Josephine Desiree Rollyson, MSW, LSW, Founder and Lead Consultant, is a dedicated mental health professional and military spouse with extensive experience supporting individuals, groups, and organizations.

Desiree started her military-life journey in 2015 as Texas National Guard Spouse and in 2017 her husband transitioned to active-duty service who still serves today. Over the last decade Desiree and her family have moved across Air Force bases in the United States and Europe.

During this time, she recognized the gaps in mental and emotional services both in and out of the military communities. She witnessed individuals struggle with finding their place in a life where the only constant is change.

Inspired to help others balance mental wellness in the chaos of life, her mission is to create a space where people can learn how to re-connect with themselves in order to reclaim their identity and strengthen the community they need.

With more than a decade of experience supporting diverse populations—including military families, faith-based organizations, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and individuals across all age groups from pre-school age to adulthood —Desiree has worked to:

  • Help educate new spouses on the complexity of the military lifestyle

  • Guide youth and adults in  wellness

  • Provide mentorships across location, rank, service type

  • Encourage family growth by educating on positive communication and behaviors

Mental Health for the Military Experience

Military life requires resilience, adaptability, and sacrifice—but too often, identity becomes tied only to roles, responsibilities, or survival mode.

At MH4ME, we provide coaching, education, and support designed specifically for military spouses, service members, and military families navigating transition, burnout, stress, and identity shifts throughout the military lifestyle.

Whether facing PCS moves, deployments, career changes, reintegration, parenting stress, or the invisible weight of constantly starting over, our goal is to help individuals reconnect with their values, strengthen healthy coping strategies, and build sustainable support systems.

MH4ME understands the unique realities of military culture while creating space for people to feel seen beyond rank, duty status, or expectations.

Our approach focuses on practical application, emotional wellness, and values-based living to ensure you feel seen, supported, and strengthened—because you are more than what you do.

Helping military-connected families navigate value based living in a task driven world.

Personalized guidance to connect military and veteran families with trusted local, state, and national resources to aide individuals and families during times of stress related to the military lifestyle such as deployments, temporary deployment (TDY), permanent change of stations (PCS), and life-events where additional support would be beneficial.

  • Link to Verified Services: Provide curated recommendations for local community, professional, or digital resources (e.g., local food, housing, or specialized support lines).
